Getting Started with PJais
Welcome to PJais! This guide will help you get up and running in minutes. Learn how to create your first AI persona, start conversations, and explore the powerful features.
Before You Begin
All your data stays on your device by default. PJais processes everything locally for maximum privacy.
Start using PJais immediately. No sign-up, no account creation - just install and go.
Want to sync across devices? Enable cloud sync anytime with a Pro subscription.
Quick Start in 5 Minutes
When you first launch PJais, you'll see the welcome screen with a brief introduction to the app.
- The app will automatically create a default workspace
- You'll see the main dashboard with navigation on the left
- All features are accessible from the sidebar menu
Click on "Personas" in the sidebar, then click the "Create New Persona" button.
Persona Configuration:
- Name: Give your persona a memorable name (e.g., "Assistant", "Creative Writer")
- Description: Briefly describe what this persona is for
- Personality: Choose traits like helpful, creative, analytical, etc.
- System Prompt: Define how the AI should behave (optional)
Navigate to the "Chat" section and select your newly created persona.
- Type your message in the input box at the bottom
- Press Enter or click Send to get a response
- Your conversation history is automatically saved

Free users can create up to 3 personas. Pro users have unlimited personas. Each persona can have its own personality, memory, and configuration.
PJais works completely offline for local AI processing. You only need internet if you want to use cloud-based AI providers or enable cloud sync.
All your data is stored locally on your device by default. You can optionally enable encrypted cloud sync with a Pro subscription to access your data across devices.
